I noticed coming across photos the kids took when younger how random and minute they were. Maybe even accidental, ...maybe not, but I loved the view from their world, I saw things that suprised me.

In many ways they told stories I glossed over day to day, the detail reminded me, sent me searching in my mind to recall what it could be. Stories of our lives came out by association, records of the objects around, and through, which our lives are lived.

I hope these images conjure similar expansive feelings for you. Not in the literal sense as they are the detail of my life not yours, but maybe they will resonate in different ways, draw you to think of other things ...maybe inspire you to see details and the life extrapolated out from them anew.

The images can also serve as icons that can relate to feelings and thoughts, prompts that can be used in constructing a map of what a particular issue might mean to us.

Wisdom, Earthiness, Newness, Oldness, Family, Work, Play, Caring, Childhood Connections...

Putting together an array of selected icons that speak to us on an issue highlights different aspects on which to ponder, consider why they are there behind it.

Other icons may speak to solutions, how best to deal with it.

If nothing else it is a way to spend more time within a train of thought, let it turn in the subconscious...
