|...this last week we have been getting little spots of rain with nothing but clear blue skies above. I finally figured out that it is the snow and the ice being blown off the tops of the mountains. It gets blown off at high altitude, drifts down, and melts into little droplets of water.
What a beautiful thing that realisation. A physical connection with the ice capped peaks around us. Drops of water from the summits of the highest mountains there are, falling on our cheeks, droplets from an otherwise untouchable world to mere trekkers such as ourselves...
