		Sketched in a monastery in Tibet. Copied from a full scale painting on the rooftop, time to sit and draw, I remember the sunshine and the ever so slightly deeper blues of the Tibetan skies.
		Sketched on the Great Wall at Simitai. We went up and hung around after closing staying out of sight to sleep overnight. Slept in one of the turrets under thin ponchos. Cold with bats about (not a great sleep), but very atmospheric! Old lady selling drinks was happy to have us there and invited us to her village after helping retrieve jinyu, our gold fish kite which broke loose.
