Trying to Find Reasons

I’m trying to find reasons, to like you less than I do,
for I get stuck, whenever I see you.
My soul, it knows the truth,
knows your feel,
your way with the world,
gives my heart, to reel.
I’m trying to find reasons, to like you less than I do,
because I’m scared,
…scared I might be falling in love, …with you.

(and I wonder …wonder do you feel, the same)

And my heart …it is crying,
for it senses the lonely depths of this game,
of the no happy endings,
the that, that cannot be,
…leaving only,
…this pain.

…And on what next gets written,
my thoughts revolving,
circling,

…again,

…and again.
