I wear a particular watch to help me get things done,
as I am a very little superstitious.

I hesitate when faced with having to speak up in a public forum,
because am a tiny bit petrified of being embarrassed.

I hold back from expressing myself fully in case I get hurt,
so will admit small parts of me only, love you to unfathomable depths.

My life lived one foot in,
one foot out,
fearing the precipice which threatens to swallow,
treading a path, that is probably, likely, …too narrow.
