Half Baked (Levity)
6th June 2022

Nervous smiles,
defile trials,
deeds not nice,
exposed vice.

Bombs took lives,
now they pay too,
reckoning,
become due.

Death is currency,
in this place;
there are no winners,
in this race.

How did we arrive,
at such a state,
all these people,
with such a fate.

Prompt: Half baked levity
