Burnt fingers, spilled drinks, broken bits; don’t touch that,

ignored feelings, traumatic dealings, unspoken reelings; don’t touch that,

substances unkind, marred minds, committed crimes; don’t touch that,

misguided solutions, lost contributions, in financial ruins; don’t touch that,

stolen identity, leaked accidently, ..now I’m not me; don’t touch that,

anxiety and depression, learning hard lessons, always in regression; don’t touch that,

Lives fraught with peril, lined with pain,

...one small step to the side,

…we won’t never be the same;

don’t touch that.
